PING ChipR WEDGE - STEEL

Fully engineered for golfers who may lack confidence with their traditional wedge and frequently struggle with chip shots. The ChipR combines elements of a putter and a wedge to improve performance around the greens and lower scores without fear of chunking or blading shots.

BUMP AND RUN - Recommended for shots within 40 yards of the green from the rough or fringe, golfers apply a putting-like stroke to achieve distance control and consistency without fear of chunking or blading shots.
FORGIVING DESIGN - The investment-cast, 431 stainless steel head is perimeter weighted for forgiveness, offers a composite cavity badge, and its hydropearl chrome finish repels water. Available to be custom fit for length, loft and lie (10 color codes).
CAMBERED SOLE - The cambered sole allows for a smooth transition through the rough and fringe for maximum versatility and consistency. A shallow face height (between putter and wedge), helps ensure reliable contact and performance.
MICROMAX GROOVES - Precision-milled MicroMax grooves (tighter spacing, more grooves), increase ball contact to maintain spin for consistent trajectories and control on chips of every length. The compact profile inspires confidence.
WEDGE-SPECIFIC SHAFT, GRIP - PING's lightweight Z-Z115 shaft has a lower balance point for more clubhead feel. The PING 360 Dyla-wedge Lite grip, which is 3/4-inch longer than a traditional grip with a reduced taper, allows golfers to choke down for more versatility and trajectory control.

I have only used it a couple of times at the simulator and it has met my expectations.

I've only used it 1 round so far. Maybe hit it 10 times. It looks really cool and feels great. It has a nice heavy weight to it. But it sounds like something is broken when I hit it. It sounds like something is maybe cracked? Maybe it's normal? Maybe I just need to get used to it.

Extremely excited to try my chipR this summer!

As expected.

Easy. Timely. As advertised.

I dislike the way they handed out the delivery trackng information as if they should not be bothered if any delay or incompletion of the order and it's all on the delivery company's sole reaponsibility.

Customer care should end upon completion of the transaction, which is the receipt on the actual order by the customer.

Customer service doesn't seem to like having discussion with customer after payment of the order.

Wish I had something to share with you regarding the Ping ChipR, however, at this time local courses covered in snow. I’m sure it will improve my short game. Looking forward to pulling it out of the bag.
