What's new in SM11

Contact, flight and spin

SM11 is built around Bob Vokey's three keys to great wedge play. Get the contact right and the flight and spin follow.

Cleaner contact

Cleaner contact

With 27 loft, bounce and grind combinations, there is a setup that helps you strike the ball between grooves two and five for predictable results.

Controlled flight

Controlled flight

Every grind in a given loft now shares the same centre of gravity, so your launch window stays the same whichever sole fits your swing.

A smarter way to spin

A smarter way to spin

A new angled face texture, shot-specific groove shapes and Spin Milled grooves with 5% more volume than SM10 help hold spin from any lie.

Extended durability

Extended durability

A localized heat treatment on the impact area doubles groove durability, and every SM11 is 100% inspected for quality.

Bounce explained

Read the stamp

Every Vokey is stamped with three things: loft, bounce and grind. Here is what each one means.

56LoftSets distance and height
10BounceHow much the sole resists digging
SGrindThe sole shape and relief

Bounce is the angle between the leading edge and the lowest point of the sole. More bounce keeps the club from digging into soft turf and sand. Less bounce lets the leading edge sit closer to the ground on firm, tight lies.

Grind guide

Find your grind

The grind is how the sole is shaped. It changes how the club moves through the turf and how well it plays with the face open.

FNew 44°

Full swing forgiveness

The all-purpose full sole, and the only grind in the pitching and gap wedge lofts. Best for full shots and square-face chips. Often considered the most forgiving SM11 grind.

S

Square-face versatility

Trailing-edge relief for a faster feel through the turf. For players who keep the face square and control trajectory with their hands, from a variety of conditions.

54.10 · 56.10 · 58.10 · 60.10

M

Greenside creativity

Heel, toe and trailing-edge relief for players who open and close the face around the green. Suits shallow, sweeping swings. Bob Vokey's favourite.

54.08 · 56.08 · 58.08 · 60.08

D

High bounce, still versatile

Crescent-shaped relief like the M Grind, with more bounce. Built for steeper swings and softer conditions that produce deep divots.

54.12 · 56.12 · 58.12 · 60.12

KNew .06K

Wide-sole forgiveness

The widest sole, now in two bounces. The .12K is the ultimate soft-sand club, now 12° instead of 14° for easier open-face shots. The new .06K is an ultra-forgiving low-bounce option for firm conditions, used to win two majors in 2025.

58.06 · 60.06 · 58.12 · 60.12

T

Tight lies, firm conditions

The lowest bounce in the lineup with the most heel, toe and trailing-edge relief. For skilled players who want maximum versatility from tight lies and firm turf.

Build your set

Gap it, then match it

Space your wedges about 4 to 6 degrees apart, starting from your pitching wedge loft. Then match bounce and grind to your swing and your course. These are good starting points.

Sweeper, firm turf

Shallow swing, small divots, firm fairways and bunkers.

FAQ

Vokey SM11 questions

Are these wedges brand new?

Yes. Every Tour Chrome, Jet Black, Nickel and Raw SM11 in this collection is brand new.

What does 56.10 S mean?

The first number is the loft (56°), the second is the bounce (10°) and the letter is the grind (S). See the bounce and grind guides above for what each one does.

How do I choose bounce?

Choose low bounce (4° to 6°) for firm turf and shallow swings, mid bounce (8° to 10°) for normal conditions and neutral swings, and high bounce (12° to 14°) for soft turf, soft sand and steep swings. If you are unsure, mid bounce is the safest choice.

Which lofts should I choose?

Gap your wedges about 4 to 6 degrees apart, starting from your pitching wedge loft. A common setup is 50, 54 and 58 degrees, or 52, 56 and 60. If your irons have strong lofts, the 44° or 46° pitching wedge helps close the gap.

What is new in SM11 compared with SM10?

SM11 has the same centre of gravity across every grind in a loft, 5% more groove volume, shot-specific groove shapes, a new angled face texture, a new 44° pitching wedge, the new low-bounce .06K and a .12K high-bounce K Grind.

What are free custom options?
