Your logo prints up to 21 mm wide and 21 mm high
The printable area on each side of the ball is a 21 mm (about 13/16") circle. Your whole design, including any outline or background shape, must fit inside it.
The dashed circle in our Golf Ball Customizer shows this exact area at true scale, so what you see is the size we print. The dashed circle is a reference only and is never printed.
How big will my logo print?
The shape of your logo decides its largest printed size, because it has to fit inside the 21 mm circle.
Logo tips for the best print
- Round, square and stacked logos print the largest and clearest.
- Very wide logos print shorter. Consider a stacked or icon version of your logo.
- Avoid very thin lines and small text (under about 1.5 mm tall) as they may not print clearly.
- Trim extra background and empty space so your logo uses the full print area.
- Upload a large, high-quality file: JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP or SVG up to 20 MB. Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) are welcome in the upload step.
- We print in full colour, so any colours in your logo are fine.

Logo ball questions
What is the maximum logo size on a golf ball?
The print area is a 21 mm circle on each side of the ball, so your logo can be up to 21 mm wide and 21 mm high. Round logos can use the full 21 mm. Square logos print up to about 14.8 × 14.8 mm, and wide or tall logos are limited by the circle.
My logo is very wide. Will it work?
Yes, but it will print shorter. A 3:1 logo prints at about 19.9 × 6.6 mm. If you have a stacked version or an icon of your logo, it will print larger and easier to read.
Will my printed logo be exactly the size of the preview?
Our virtual previews and proofs are a close representation of the final printed result, but there may be small size variations on the actual printed ball, which is common when printing.
Will I see a proof before my balls are printed?
Yes, if you’d like one. In the Golf Ball Customizer you can approve your preview and go straight into production, or ask our art team to email you a proof to approve before we print. If you upload your logo in the steps instead, our art team will send you a virtual proof to approve.
What file types can I upload?
The Golf Ball Customizer accepts JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP and SVG files up to 20 MB. Large, high-quality files print best. Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) can be added in the logo upload step.
Can I print on both sides of the ball?
Yes. Add a second logo or up to 3 lines of text on the opposite side (the Second Pole) for $5 per dozen. Each side has its own 21 mm print area.
