The OPTM MAX-D Driver is designed for maximum draw bias, slice correction, and stability. Optimized weight distribution is achieved through advanced supercomputing to reduce side-spin and improve accuracy.

Quite a Good Driver....but

I found myself in the position of having to replace my driver, due to a crack in the back of the crown. Since that driver, and the 2 prior drivers I owned were Cobra, it was not hard to choose to go back to them for my new one.
The Optim Max D was the best choice for my game and after a couple of trips to the driving range, I finally got my FutureFit33 settings dialed in.
The first drive I hit on the first hole was one of the best drives I have ever hit on that hole. Right in the middle of the fairway, and closer to the hole than ever before. I was obviously excited at that, but on the very next hole I hit the ball slightly back on the face, toward the heel. This drive was MUCH closer to the tee box than I ever remember being before (and I've often teed off with my 3 wood on this hole). I blamed myself and carried on. But as the day progressed, it became obvious that as good as this driver is for me, it's much more important to get the strike near the center of the clubface. My previous driver (a Cobra RadSpeed XB) was noticeably more forgiving on off-center hits.
I'm happy with the driver, but I hesitate to give it 5 stars because it's not as forgiving as I'd like. Keep in mind, I am a mid-high handicap player. If you're a better player, my guess is you would love this club.
