A traditionally long and arduous process, ancient kapa technique requires fine craftsmanship to carve intricate, geometric patterns. The chevron pattern displayed in Deep Ocean Swell is meant to convey the forceful strength of ocean waves at great depths with its pointed and rhythmic rows.
