The PXG Hot Rod ZT is a centre-shafted mallet built to reduce the twisting forces that can open or close the face during the stroke. Its Zero Torque geometry combines a lightweight milled body with tungsten-supported weighting for a stable, low-manipulation putting motion.

PLAYER PROFILE

For golfers who want help controlling face rotation and prefer the confidence of a mallet at address. A fitting helps match the zero-torque setup to the player’s length, lie, grip and natural hand position.

ZERO TORQUE GEOMETRY

The centre of gravity sits just below the shaft axis. Keeping these points closely aligned reduces the force needed to maintain a face angle square to the path through the stroke.

ONSET HOSEL & INTEGRATED FORWARD PRESS

The onset hosel creates a toe-up balance point and incorporates 3° of forward press. PXG lists 6° of measured loft, designed to play like approximately 3° at the intended address position. This distinction matters when fitting the putter and checking setup.

ALUMINUM BODY & CONCEALED TUNGSTEN

The CNC-milled 6061 aluminum head has a black anodized finish. High-density tungsten beneath the sole weight ports helps move mass outward, increasing moment of inertia and resistance to twisting on imperfect strikes.

PYRAMID MILLED FACE

The face geometry is designed to interact consistently with golf-ball dimples for reliable roll. It combines a softer impact sound with the direct feedback of a solid milled face.

FOUR-WEIGHT ADJUSTABILITY

Four interchangeable sole weights allow a fitter to tailor head feel and balance. The standard model-specification values appear below; confirm the achievable range for a requested build before ordering.

ALIGNMENT & FITTING

PXG describes an SL2 head with two sightlines and an SL1 option with a blank back cavity. Any specific alignment or grip request requires build confirmation; use the listed hand and length choices for the standard purchase configuration.
