Great for the backyard net

I've had this unit since covid when it was first released, and for what it is, it is great! Don't expect Trackman level of data, but for my backyard, just to get some distance numbers and speed, I love this unit!

So far so good. I bought an Apple thunderbolt to VGA cable at Staples and my projector works. I wish there was a Mac app from Garmin. I didn’t find it too picky to set up. It just worked. I did have trouble when I tried the second day, instead using my phone instead of my ipad. Trouble was I didn’t disconnect from my ipad so the phone wouldn’t connect. My mistake. But perhaps my phone should have told me, DISCONNECT YOUR iPAD DUMMY.

Ordered from Canadian Pro Shop after seeing a Garmin R10 at an insane discount. Turns out it was a mistake on their end and they honoured it. I didn’t actually receive a shipping notification and a random package was sitting outside my door a few weeks later. Thankfully the item was still there and didn’t get stolen. Removed a star for that as an item like that shouldn’t just be dropped off or have zero heads up it even shipped.

Very happy with the purchase overall and will make future purchases on the site. The R10 works as it should and I've been very happy with it. Perfect for our garden simulator set up. Doesn't always give perfect readings for woods and drivers, but irons and wedges seem to be accurate.

I Would like to see a better way of tracking orders offered as I had no idea what the status of my order was until it arrived at my door. Under my account, it had showed that it hadn't been shipped for a couple weeks after purchasing, but then showed up at my door unexpectedly. The initial email mentioned it could be tracked using the "shop" app, but when I asked the customer service about this they said how the app doesn't work with their store. Customer service was very responsive and helpful.

The product isn't perfect. But for what it is and price point, I really enjoy it. Bring it to the range and look at some of your numbers to go along with your practice.

In the backyard, I like it as a mini simulator as well.

The flight path of your balls aren't very accurate, but can't expect too much from this little device. Numbers however, seem to be pretty accurate. I'm not a PGA pro, don't need it to be perfectly dialed in.

It seems a bit off of my normal numbers but I am very happy with it.

Put it up against commercial Sims and it is accurate within 3 yards. Great unit!
