Canadian vs US sizes

Canadian and US clothing and shoe sizes are the same. Most brands sold in Canada, including adidas, Nike, PING, FootJoy and Under Armour, use US sizing. A men's medium, a 34" waist or a size 10 shoe in Canada is the same as in the US. UK and European sizes are different, so use the charts below to convert them.

Get the right fit

How to measure

Chest: measure around the fullest part of your chest, under your arms, keeping the tape level.
Waist: measure around your natural waistline, where you normally wear your pants.
Hip: measure around the fullest part of your hips with your feet together.
Inseam: measure from the crotch to the bottom of the ankle along the inside of the leg.
Feet: measure heel to longest toe in millimetres and use the JP (mm) column of the shoe chart.

Between sizes? Choose the larger size for a relaxed fit or the smaller size for a fitted look.

Are Canadian sizes the same as US sizes?

Yes. Canadian clothing and shoe sizes are the same as US sizes for almost every brand, including adidas, Nike, PING and FootJoy.

What is size 52 in Canada?

A European men's size 52 jacket is a Canadian 42 chest, usually a large. A European (French) size 52 pant is a 42" waist.

What is size 44 in Canada?

For men, a European 44 pant (French sizing) is a 34" waist. For women, a European 44 is a Canadian and US size 12.

Is a men's size 34 a medium or a large?

A 34" waist is usually a medium. On the adidas chart, a medium fits a 32–35" waist, and a large fits 35–39".

What is 102 cm in inches?

102 cm is about 40 inches. For pants, a 102 cm waist is a 40" waist, or a European (French) size 50.

Are UK sizes different from Canadian sizes?

Yes. UK women's sizes are 4 higher than Canadian sizes (a Canadian 8 is a UK 12), and on the adidas chart UK shoe sizes are half a size smaller than US men's sizes.
